The legacy we leave behind for our children, grandchildren and this great nation is crucial. As I approach my 94th birthday, I realize this election could be my last. I believe it is vitally important that we cast our ballots for candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel. I urge you to vote for those who protect the sanctity of life and support the biblical definition of marriage between a man and a woman. Vote for biblical values this November 6, and pray with me that America will remain one nation under God.

Barack Obama’s disrespect and even desecration of our nation’s fundamental values and symbols reached a new low last week when his campaign began selling a redesigned American flag.

Here it is….

+ + Obama’s New Design Is “Flag Desecration”!

It’s one thing to stylize the American flag, but to blatantly put your logo and image at the center of our flag is, as one blogger called it, “virtual flag desecration.”

As you can see, the field of 50 stars has been replaced with the Obama logo. It has been 47 years since the last star was added to the American flag. Last week Obama removed all of them and replaced them with his own logo.

And then he offered his new flag on t-shirts and “limited edition” prints — all to raise funds for his campaign.

+ + Meanwhile Obama Apologizes… In Pakistan

At the same time Obama was releasing his redesigned American flag, his administration was purchasing air time on seven Pakistani television stations to once again apologize for America.

With radical groups storming our embassies, murdering our people and descrating our flag, Obama paid to go on Pakistani TV and essentially take blame and apologize!

President Obama is becoming an international embarrassment while he works to undermine our values here at home.

Yet Obama still leads in most of the major national polls!

A major outbreak of violence from Gaza over the weekend forced more than 200,000 Israelis into bomb shelters. More than 100 rockets and missiles were fired into Israel from Gaza. Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system intercepted many of them, and no fatalities were reported, but the damage from the strikes was intensive. This new round of terror followed Israel’s success last week in stopping a major terror attack plot.

Israeli Defense Forces launched a strike that killed two terrorists involved in planning the attack, including the commander of the Popular Resistance Committee, a terrorist group operating in Gaza. An attack like the one last year across the lightly-defended Sinai border that killed eight Israelis was in the final stages when the IDF took action. Remember that Gaza is the land Israel gave up seven years ago in exchange for “peace.” It didn’t work then, and it won’t work now! The enemies of Israel have no interest in peace; they want the Jewish state destroyed and the Jewish people killed.

Israel today stands on the brink of all-out war—a war that will kill or injure thousands of precious Jewish men, women, and children. We must do all that we can to defend the Jewish state and God’s Chosen People. In addition, the Jerusalem Prayer Team is working to meet the needs of the poor and elderly in Israel. In a legal brief filed with the US Supreme Court, Hillary Clinton has urged the justices not to call Jerusalem part of Israel. At issue is the birthplace designation on passports given to US citizens born in Israel. The Administration’s policy is to require those born in the Jewish capital to have their place of birth listed as Jerusalem rather than Israel. This rule applies to no other capital city on earth; its only purpose is to refuse to acknowledge that Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish state.

The Supreme Court has agreed to take up the case of nine-year-old Menachem Zivotofsky, who was born in Jerusalem in 2002. His parents want his birthplace listed as Israel. Congress passed a law in 2004 requiring Israel be listed as the place of birth to those born in Jerusalem at their request, but the State Department headed by Hillary Clinton has refused. Truly there are powerful forces within our own government determined to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem. Will you stand in the gap for Israel today? The prophet Isaiah wrote of hearing God’s question: “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Isaiah answered, “Here am I, send me.” What will your answer be today?
